The term pollution refers ‘to make foul or filthy’. The pollution is the worlds biggest enemy. It is present in every part of this world, i.e in atmosphere, on land, in seas and in rivers. Our air is polluted by the smoke, gases, fumes coming out from vehicles, industries, factories and burning of other substances. The huge industrial wastes, wastes from home etc are being dumped into rivers, lakes and seas. This leads in killing of fishes and other marine life. Veterinary animals are also being affected when they consume polluted water. Polluted water also destroys agricultural products. It also corrupts the soil and removes the nutrient contents from them. Mostly big cities bring huge industrial waste. This water when consumed by human beings will lead to several disease and death. Noise pollution is caused heavily in cities. Vehicles, industry, construction sites generates larger amount of depression and tension among the people. Good sound absorbers should be fixed in industries which will control the noise generated. Human beings should feel and think the consequences of various pollution. They should not dump the waste in open places, in rivers, in lakes. We must prevent our cities from being over crowded with industries. Deforestation of trees should be prevented. All this must be followed by the people in order to prevent destruction of this whole world.
